Delivery, cancellation and returns
| Delivery | Made and dispatched within 4 business days of payment (or 2 business days with the rush production option), and delivery takes about 14 days after dispatch — about 18 days in total, or about 16 with rush production. With the EMS shipping upgrade, delivery instead takes about 7 days after dispatch, giving about 11 days in total, or about 9 with both rush production and EMS. If you do not know your ten finger numbers yet, you can add the Sizing Kit option ($12) and we send it first: it is dispatched within 2 business days and arrives in about 14 days, and your set is then made once your numbers reach us — about 34 days in total (about 27 with EMS, about 32 with rush production, or about 23 with both). The kit is yours to keep and always travels by standard post. Business days are Monday to Friday in Japan, excluding public holidays and our year-end closure. Where a sizing kit is sent, the time it spends reaching you and the time you take to send us your numbers are not counted. |

| Returns and exchanges | Every set is made to order and is a hygiene product, so returns and exchanges for change of mind cannot be accepted, and statutory rights of withdrawal for distance selling do not apply to goods made to your own specification. An order may be cancelled at any time before painting begins. If we do not ship by the date we gave you, you may cancel for a full refund at any stage; delays caused by customs, weather, postal disruption or an incorrect address do not count towards that date. If we cannot ship on time we will write to you before that date, give you a new date, and tell you that you may cancel and be refunded in full; if the new date is more than 30 days later, or we cannot give a firm date, the order is cancelled and refunded automatically unless you tell us you are willing to wait. If an item arrives damaged, differs from the design you approved, or does not match the size you ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery and it will be remade or refunded at our expense. If you used the Sizing Kit and the fit is still wrong although the set matches the numbers you sent, a remake is available at half the original price, with return and re-ship postage paid by you. Sizing mistakes on the customer's side — measurements not taken using the Sizing Kit, or numbers sent in error — are not eligible for a return or refund; a paid exchange is available on request. A sizing kit added to an order does not need to be returned, whether or not the fit works out; if it arrives damaged or does not arrive, it is replaced at our expense. Refunds reach your original payment method within 7 business days, including any shipping you paid, and you never have to ask us for a refund that is due. |
